Hump Day Pamper

By now you will all know that we love a mid-week DIY pamper.

Tonight I am going to indulge in a DIY facial. Facials help maintain radiant skin and depending on your products, they can target different problem areas in our skin. I wanted to share with you a non-expensive DIY facial that you can do anytime.

Step 1:  Wash your face with a good cleanser. I use the Priori CoffeeBerry Revitalising Cleanser. I like a gel cleanser and it makes my skin feel revitalised after using it.

Step 2: Time to exfoliate. Using a gentle facial exfoliator or scrub go around your face in circular motions focusing on problem areas. I use the SkinCeuticals Micro exfoliating scrub, I find the micro beads to be gentle on my skin. Fill your sink with warm water and using a facial towel, soak it and then gentle wipe away all of the scrub.

Step 3: Time for my favourite part, the face mask. It is important here to pick a mask that targets any issues you are having with your skin. Due to the winter, I find my skin is dehydrated so I picked the Ella Bache Hydra-Revitalising Skin Balm. It is a beautiful, rich balm that instantly makes you glow! Cover the face with the mask and lie down and relax for 10 minutes. Massage into your face and then with a warm, wet facial towel, gently remove product from your face.

Step 4: Serum time - apply a serum to your face. I used the MD Skincare Anti-Aging Vitamin C serum. It replenishes my skin and protects it against free radicals.

Step 5: Moisturising time. I use a thick moisturiser as I love the feel of it on my skin. I understand we are all different in this department. At the moment I can’t get enough of the emollience moisturiser by Skinceuticals.

Step 6: Finish with an eye cream. I have actually been using a male product, but I love it. It is light and easily absorbed. Try the Body Shop Maca Root Rescue Eye Cream

Hopefully you can all try and give yourself a pamper or time out tonight. Enjoy my lovelies and remember, only 2 days until the weekend. Enjoy!!!
